New Chapter: Blockchain Data at BirdEye
November 2025 opened the most exciting chapter yet: joining BirdEye, a crypto data and trading intelligence platform, as a Senior Software Engineer. Moving from fintech and core banking into blockchain felt bold - a whole new domain of on-chain data, real-time markets, and Web3 primitives - but it is exactly the kind of frontier I wanted to build on. From day one the culture stood out: a welcome box declaring "You're now a Birdy - welcome to the Nest," a handwritten note from the team, and an intensity around shipping product that matches the speed of the crypto market itself. Here I get to apply years of backend and distributed-systems experience to problems where latency, correctness, and scale really matter - serving live on-chain intelligence to traders around the world. It is challenging, unfamiliar, and energizing all at once, and it is exactly why I made the move.

Pursuing a Master's at HUST
In August 2025 I returned to Hanoi University of Science and Technology - this time as a Master's student in Information Technology at the School of Information and Communications Technology (SoICT). After five years in industry, I felt the pull to formalize and deepen the knowledge I had been applying day to day: distributed systems, data engineering, machine learning, and the theory behind the tools I use. Balancing a demanding full-time engineering role with graduate coursework is not easy - evening lectures after long workdays, weekend reading, research papers on topics like reinforcement learning - but it keeps me sharp and curious. Standing under the university's iconic Parabol gate again reminded me that great engineers never stop being students. This chapter is my investment in the long game: stronger fundamentals today, a Solution Architect's perspective tomorrow.

MSB - Core Banking Chapter
Joining MSB Bank as a Senior Backend Developer was a natural evolution of my fintech expertise - this time with a deeper focus on core banking systems. I worked on the digital onboarding flow, the first touchpoint between customers and MSB's digital banking ecosystem, applying everything I had learned at VNPAY while diving deeper into banking regulations, compliance, and financial data security. Beyond the code, MSB gave me a strong team culture - captured best by the Year End Party 2025 trip to Yunnan, China, under the banner "Conquering the snow peak, writing success further." Standing on that snow mountain with the whole department reminded me why great engineering is ultimately a team sport. After eight focused months, I closed this chapter to take on a new challenge in the blockchain data space - but the lessons in reliability, security, and teamwork came with me.

VNPAY-CA Thank You Party
December 2023 marked a significant milestone in our journey - the successful launch of VNPAY-CA, our digital certificate management system. The Thank You Party wasn't just a celebration; it was a moment of reflection on the incredible journey we had undertaken together. Over 18 months, we had transformed from a small team with a big vision into a cohesive unit that had delivered a enterprise-grade solution handling thousands of digital certificates daily. The project had pushed us to our limits - we learned about PKI infrastructure, certificate lifecycle management, and the intricacies of digital signature validation. The recognition ceremony was particularly meaningful because it acknowledged not just the technical achievements, but the collaborative spirit, late-night debugging sessions, and the unwavering support we provided each other during challenging phases. As I looked around the room that evening, I realized that we hadn't just built a software system - we had built lasting professional relationships and gained invaluable experience that would shape our careers forever.

First Team at VNPAY
In March 2022, I joined VNPAY and became part of a small but ambitious team tasked with building the foundation for the VNeDoc digital signature system. This was a pivotal moment in my career - transitioning from a traditional software company to a fintech environment where every line of code could impact thousands of users daily. The early days were filled with intense learning, architectural discussions, and the excitement of building something from scratch. We spent countless hours designing the microservices architecture, implementing OAuth2 authentication flows, and ensuring the system could handle enterprise-scale document signing operations. The team chemistry was incredible, and despite the challenges, we maintained a collaborative spirit that would define our success.

July 2020 marked the culmination of four transformative years at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Graduating with a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications provided me with a solid foundation in engineering principles, mathematical thinking, and systematic problem-solving that would prove invaluable in my software development career. My final year project focused on embedded systems and IoT applications, which gave me early exposure to the intersection of hardware and software - knowledge that later helped me understand system architecture and performance optimization in my professional work.
